About to order Ostrich

I have decided after a long debate I want to use an Ostrich 2 to tune my truck, it has a 16197427 PCM and Moates doesnt list that one but I have found quite a few people of FSC and the moates forums that have said they used it and it worked. Before I order I just want to confirm all I need other than a program (Tunerpro RT) is the unit and the G1 adapter.

Yep, G1, Ostrich, .XDf for the proper MaskId ($0D?), .ADS for for same, and an ALDL cable.

Laptop with USB port. If no serial port then need a USB ALDL cable. Note that the Ostrich should be backed up with a PROM. So add the Burn2 and some flash chips.

That should do it. Let me know if it doesn't.

Oh, maybe the HDR1 to read your stock BIN for a starting point.

RBob.
