I am doing research for the MPFI conversion using my 7427 PCM. If I use the 96 vortec CPI injector what mods are needed to the PCM to drive that injector?

Re: driving PFI injectors with 7427
Depends upon the resistance of the injectors as to whether anything or what needs to be done. If using saturated injectors just run jumpers across the sense resistors.

Thanks RBob I found that on FSC though.

Is the jumper mod needed to run the CPI injector from the vortec intake or not? How would I do that? I'm not dead set on using it but I picked it up complete for $15 so I couldnt pass it up, plus I didnt even have to pull it!

Is there a true PFI OEM intake setup for vortec heads or only CPI?

Hi Drummer, GM Performance Parts Ramjet intake. Fits vortec style small block heads. Picked up the intake on ebay, tuning it with the EBL, and I LOVE it. Dean.
