ALDL Cable for 1989 Camaro 2.8L

Hey guys,

I recently built the two transistor ALDL cable for my 1989 and 1992 Camaros (both are V6 Rally Sports.) I was going to go test the cable on my 1989 sitting out in the driveway, but none of the ALDL software I have seen (WinALDL, etc.) seems to support the 1989 2.8L. I have searched the forums and I haven't seemed to have found anyone with a 2.8L that has written about using a cable, and was hoping someone might shed some light on this. Are there any tuning programs that will work with this car and ECM, and if so which is the best in your all's opinion? BTW Both cars are bone stock as it pertains to electronics.

Thanks in advance,
Robert
