Wich software to choose?

Hi there..

I need some help with datalogging my ECM on my 87 Camaro.

I have bought a USB cable from www.aldlcable.com and need a software program to use.

I have tried with a few programs that I found on the internett such as TTS datamaster but I can't make none of them work.

Need help here...Serious help. I have measure the voltage on the M port at the ALDL connector when ignition is set to RUN and there is regulated voltage between 3 and 5 volts so the ECM is sending DATA.

I connect the cable but can't make any program work...Please help me out here...

You could try this... http://winaldl.joby.se/aldldata.htm

your vehicle is supported. I would suggest most of us started with this program for datalogging. I believe the cables suggestions are also listed on site.

Thanks a lot...I will try that tomorrow...I also have to change the ECM output signal to Pin E and not Pin M as it is on my ALDL connector right now.

Have you tried WINALDL yourself?

WinALDL is from what I hear a good one, Datamaster is $100 but from what I have saw looks to be a great one, thats the program my local dyno guy uses for OBD1 GM's.

Did you try TPRT? I use that but a different cable.
