MAP+MAF possible?
ok, so a few of us know about the advantages of MAF or a MAP set up, but we've always had to choose. i haven't gotten my hands dirty on tuning yet and i was just wondering, more for theory's sake if it was possible. that is, to run an engine using a MAP and a MAF sensor simulaneously. many DSM vehicles run it or at least something similar to what I'm talking about and it's not uncommon to use a GM MAF sensor or EPROM ECU on a DSM. so maybe it can be reverse engineered to run our cars. i think the advantage would be more tunability from having more information to tune from. i don't know though. so does it sound possible? doable? not worth it?

Re: MAP+MAF possible?
possible but not worth it to me, cause if one will be damaged (qicker MAF them MAP) then running only on one where two should work might be dengeraus to engine work
best regards

Re: MAP+MAF possible?
right, it would probably need to have some sort of limp home mode modified to have MAF and MAP if one is malfunctioning. i'm gonna keep thinking on this so as i learn the idea will develop too.
