memcal question
i have a 165 ecm in my 86 trans am and have had a chip burned for me and is attached with the moates adapter, my question is, the chip i have to use is for an 89 car, and is running the $6E mask while my 86 is still the $32B mask, does anyone know if this is a compatibility issue as the car does not fire, im assuming i need a memcal out of an $6E car to attach to the moates adapter?

Your chip guy should know why the injectors are not firing along with what other incompatibilities may exist between the different years.
