VATS resistor value question

Want to circumvent the VATS (TPI motor swap) on an 88 Trans Am 350 TPI car/ecm. The working key module value right now is 468 ohms. The GM range closest are (#1) 402 ohms and (#2) 523 Ohms. Should I just target resistance for 468 ohms since the car starts now...or go with #2 the closest value?

Another option would be to have the prom reflashed?

Thanks

Re: VATS resistor value question

I would go with the closest GM value. Then if that doesn't work go to the other value (second closest).

RBob.
