Hello, I have a few questions, and hope someone may be able to answer.

I have done a 350 TPI /7730 700R4 Swap into my 95 Chevy truck
I want to disable a few things, like:
EGR
Canister Purge CCPE to uncheck?
VATS (Done) Flags/ Switches Bit 4 VATS unchecked
and I need to know Exactly what bits. or words. or flags. or constants to change to do this.
Second part.
Using the Truck DRAC to feed VSS to the ECU

Drac outputs 2000 PPM so I change that in the bin under Constants / Scalers
VSS from 4006.96 to 2000
Input Brown wire from DRAC to ECU C6
What else needs to be changed?
I am using the Moates 8D.xdf

 

i'm not sure if its 100% the right way to do it but i've used the xdf that comes with the S_aujp version of $8D to change things in a normal $8D bin. little things like what your looking for should be in the same place still. but a lot has been added. so not everything is.


as for the drac speedo box. i'm not 100% on them, but what i've read i think they output a square wave at that 2000ppm, while in stock form the $8D is looking for a signwave 4000ppm. i'm not sure if theres a switch for that or not in 8D. may be something to do a search for. the square wave is also called optical in some bins, like the older maf code had a switch for either input. not sure if the input is on the same pin for both types or not.


also the S_AJUP project is something worth reading up on. you may want to run that bin. its 8D with fixes and add on's. like wideband o2 logging.
