quick question 89 iroc ecm prt#

I need to know the part number or whatever it is that I need to figure out what a direct replacement would be for my 89 L98 iroc with an auto. My ECM fried and its a remanufactured unit and it doesn't have a part number on it. Thanks

If it is a TPI the Service No. is: 1227165

If it is a TBI the Service No. is: 1228746

Note that these are the original OEM numbers. There are newer Service No. for at least the '7165 ECM. Not sure about the '8746.

Remember that your MEMCAL or EPROM needs to be moved over to the new ECM.
