EGR delete

Hy guys, if i'm in the wrong section redirect me.

my question: Im removing/deleting the A.I.R. and the EGR from my lt1 engine, i already removed the AIR and the AIR relay and fuse. I removed the EGR valve and tube (the one between the IM and EM) and made some blockoff plates.

I heard you have to tune your pcm so it know that stuff has been removed. Are there other ways of doing this like pinout, or resistor or a way to bypass the pcm.

ps: on shbox.com he said in his egr thread that there are other ways but did not mention them. http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_EGR.html
