ECM Elimination, Making Simple
I just installed an Accel Vacuum Advance Distributor part # 59107 with an MSD Cap and rotor, still using the OEM Coil.
Anyways ever since I've installed, Ive been trying to get it to just start, and HAVE set the number 1 to TDC, more than once. is the ECM detecting there isnt a distributor hooked into it anymore, and do I have to pull the ECM out? More importantly does the ECM have control over starting and running?

EFI needs a DRP(distributor reference pulse) with the vaccum advance HEI, you lose the pulse, so you either need a new distributor settup for efi, or a carb.
