91 3.1L firebird problems (update)

I used the starter fluid trick over the main vacuum lines and found no leaks, replaced the engine coolant sensor which didn't help, just bought a throttle body switch/sensor and going to try that. I unhooked the battery and reset codes and let the car run and idle til it warmed up to 220 F and died when given gas and now it only flashes 12. Now that I recall, I replaced the battery november of last year so the original codes 13 and 33 could only have been on there since then but now I'm getting nothing in the way of codes. Car will idle fine until the gas is pressed but I don't smell the gas as bad as before but since this is obviously temperature related and there are no apparent vacuum leaks, any ideas as where to look next if the throttle body sensor doesn't do the job??
