DFI on a Budget

I want to eliminate the 1986 165 ECM, and I'm considering the Accel Gen 6 since I don't have a $1000+ dollars to spend on on DFI system like Gen 7 or the others.

Any con's to the Gen 6?

I would run it piggy back to my 165/ecm
