Engine: TPI 350
Transmission: 700R4
86 TA check engine light then car isdle goes all over and dies?
Hello, Maybe someone can help? i have a 1986 Trans Am that runs great most of the time but once and a while the check engine light goes on and the car runs awful
, it is usualy the isdle that becomes un-stable and sometimes the car just dies (but it does re-start) and last night the light came on and the car felt like it went to half power and it popped three to five times through the intake? and gradually (slowly) came back to life. the engine is TPI and not the stock engine, all i can find on the block is a serial and model that dont match up to anything as they are different because the engine is re-manafactured in mexico by AC-Delco? Any ideas would be grateful, only wheels at the moment, Thanks!
