i just got a new ecm and chip and i was wondering if its gonna work for my car the box has 01227165 module m and the chip is a arad 4868 and i was hoping it works in my 89 iroc with a auto trans.

What's the ECM and BCC numbers on the ECM in your car now?

the ECM will work, just a matter of if you have the right brodcast code for your setup. there are a few diff ones they installed for each setup. as long as the brodcast code is for a 89 IROC F code you should be ok unless its a california code or something like that you should be fine.

thats a 8 code brodcast, he needs an F code brodcast.

Do you mean a VIN 8 versus a VIN F?

I only posted what 3rd gen ARAD was for. And nothing to do whether it was correct for camaroboy199290's Camaro.

well its in the car and running great now so i guess its fine its for the 5.7 but on a 5.0

being your car is MAF might be letting you squeek by as MAF is forgiving. you may run rich over time but not too bad. a 8 coode car runs 22 lb injectors and a F code runs 19s.
