84 T/A with a 305 I just rebuilt. I ditched the computer controlled quadrajet and put on an edelbrock. Want to go old school with no ecm. On the large wad of wires coming out of the rf fender from the ecm, which ones are needed and which ones can I cut out?

That's a huge question to answer and I'm sure someone has done it and will help you. I have not done it so not much help... but I would say a service manual with wiring diagrams or finding some on the net would be the way to go.
