Connecting ALDL

I purchased a ALDL cable form Moates and downloaded Win ALDL. I select the ECM i have in my car and start the logging but i do not get any information. I am new to all this so i have no clue where to start. The SES light is on and i want to read the codes. I got it switched for the 10k across A & B. Any idea what i am doing wrong?

Re: Connecting ALDL

make sure you have matching USB port in the software and computer. In tuner Pro you have to have the correct ECM as well as the defintions. If you really cant figure it out give Moates a call and he can remotely correct your laptop settings via the web. Goto Moates.net and you will find his number, think he takes calls Mondays,Wends, and Fridays
