I have an 86 z28, 305 tpi, I have codes 32, 33, 34, and 43. I knw one of them is maf, which was replaced new, along with tps. the car runs like **** when its cold, low idle and runs really rough, have no idea why, but after it warms up for about 5 minutes, it runs good. Im not sure why i am getting the codes, any help would be really appreciated...

Code 32 egr system failure,33 mass air flow(high air flow indicated),34 mass air flow(low air flow indicated),43 electronic spark control.Code 43 can be cause by a faulty cinnection at the knock sensor at the ESC module or at the ECM.

would code 33 and 34 be caused by the egr system failure, and where would i find the knock sensor? thank you for your help by the way.

the knock sensor is in the block just under the pass. side head. It will have a single wire run to it. If not mistaken the wire will be white.

Code 32 system failure is set by the egr diagnostic switch on the egr and is a simgle wired, so i dont think is causing codes 33&34,the knock sensor is on passenger side amd is a single wire, make sure all the wires are good and making a good connection

thanks man. I reset the computer tonight, havent had any codes since. would a loose exhaust manifold have tiggered the knock sensor because until i realized it was loose, it sounded like an engine knock... and I do have another question for you concerning a rearend noise, I have what sounds like a rubbing noise coming from the rearend. Iv had the rear axle bearings replaced, fluid changed and still have the noise, if i go around a corner at hwy speeds, left or right, the noise will almost go away. not sure what it could be, any help would be awesome, iv had the car for about 3 months, just trying to go though it and fix what someone else neglected.
