I jumped the aldl with the paperclip and here is what happened. I got one long blink, then two short. That happens three times. Then I get 4 short blinks, a little pause, then three short blinks. That also happens three times before it repeats the first one I mentioned. Can anyone tell me how to read this? Or what codes they are? Thanks.

 

Code 43 - Knock sensor or spark timing circuit problem.

No reference pulses from the distributor, which is to be expected because the car isn't running when you pull the codes.
