DashDyno SPD .. Questions / Brainstorm - > 1st post on forum about Dash Dyno SPD

Hello all,
I just picked up a real sweet pcm tool for my OBDII LT1 3rd gen.

I was wondering if anybody else has used the DashDyno SPD, and what they thought?

I bought off ebay, so I did not get the Dyno-Scan software that came with it, and I can only find a lame demo that simulates data for you.

I am downloading and trying a number of programs like Proscan, pcmscan, free scan, the OBDII Gold dvd... etc.
I have it hooked to the car, and my laptop via USB at the same time, hopefully one of these applications will work with the dashdnyo.

I may crack and buy the software 69.99$ ! yikes, but it lets you change all the functions on the unit, from 330+ different gauges (unit can handle like 30 at once) graphs, power, tq, mileage.. etc all the good stuff.

Ive had a lot of fun just watching the numbers and actually having a tach and speedo :-D

apparently even with my lead foot, my lt1 swap is averaging over 18 mpg!

when I cruise on the highway around 55/60 its high 30's/40's for good amounts of time.

Its nice seeing the air and coolant temps, and just knowing everything thats going on

I get between 17 and 20mpg in my B-body LT1 swap with no overdrive and no TCC lock-up (trans problem). That means highway cruising is about 3500rpm at 70mph.
