Injectors/Flowrates/Pulsewidths

Ok, so I'm torn right now between running the stock 88' Z's ECM,upgrading to possibly a 7427 that I have new in the box(and have experience tuning and equipment to do it with), a 93' Z's PCM and running a 4L60E (wich I have from a prior project that never got started), or swithching to 99' Tahoe'ish PCM and tuning with EFI or HPtuners so that I can tune my Tahoe with it as well. This is my first dilemma.

My second dilemma is what injectors to use if I want to run 100 shot dry and can the extra fueling be accomplished in the tune alone? I've seen several builds (30#ers laying down 500 horses, is that possible?) that by injector/hp math should'nt be possible so I'm wondering is that @ that injectors 100% limit for what seems to be an EXCELLENT BSFC. And why was it done that way, to better atomize? If it is, seems that would be the extreme with no room for a juice boost, so if I want say 430hp @ 30-40psi fuel pressure how small a pulse width to idle/run normally and how big to run the extra 100 horses? And can it be handled by the same injector?

Re: Injectors/Flowrates/Pulsewidths

Should this be in the DFI-ECM section, or is everyone sleeping???? Need to know while Summit still has injectors on sale!!

For total hp level of 550you can use the 30's with extra fuel pressure. Or you can just switch them to 36's, those would be fine for that level. But you're always better to use a smaller injector with more pressure.
