ve table is maxed out? need advice
305 tbi.
Ebl and a few bolt ons
Just installed a new fpr and now the fuel pressure is like 16-17the psi. But my BLM and int numbers are high. 140-150 during acceleration. What's the issue. Some areas are 100kpa. No good.
Think my pumps maxing out? Ve learns still try to add fuel too.

Always a good idea to keep an eye on the fuel pressure.
As for the VE maxing out, increase the BPC vs VAC table values. Can do this as long as the injector duty cycle remains under 85%.
RBob.

Re: ve table is maxed out? need advice
I did try to increase bpc before I posted this. It did help but BLM and INT were still high. Turned the fp down to 14.5 psi. Went back to factory tune and did the learns again and the BLM and intnumber are pretty good now ve table looks good as well.
Think this pump is maxing out.
However im still seeing over 85%a dc at wot. Think itstime to try 61lb injector.
Sorry typing this on my phone

Re: ve table is maxed out? need advice
You also may need to increase the values in your injector offset vs temp when you increase fuel oressure or injectors. Increasing these values add to the bpw. It is compensating for the amohnt of time to open and close the injectors, which increases with more pressure or larger injectors.

Re: ve table is maxed out? need advice
I'm not sure if it would work the same or not with the ebl, but I know of a guy with a C5 Corvette that was turbo'd. Under boost the ve table was maxed and the PCM would go into limp mode because it reached its airflow calculation limits. What he did was change injecrors values, either greatly increased or decreased them, and that allowed him to completely scale down the ve table. It isn't exactly correct but it works and I read about lots of guys with that Pcm having to do that with boosted applications. I don't know if that applies here or not, or if it would even work on ebl but its a thought.

Think what happened was the fuel pump was maxing out?
Its good now, ve learns all show 0 in most areas above idle and only+/-3 in others.
Ill post back tomorrow with some pics. Was a weird thing, annoying too. my factory modified FPR broke with the stiffer spring from TDS, so i had to order another FPR off ebay, works really well. Has a port for vacuum reference as well i need to hook up
