4th gen ecm in 3rd gen

My friend and I are attempting to settle a difference. If I were to change my ecm out of my 91 305 tbi camaro to a 4th gen 305 ecm , I would need the ecm harness and change some of the plugs and more. But the 4th gens never came in a tbi form so it won't work I will need a 4th gen engine.Right

4th gens, never came with 305s. That being said, you could make an older engine run off of a newer PCM, but its not cheap, it would also most likely need to be multiport fuel injection, like tpi, lt1 intake, ect. You would have to accomidate all of the sensors the newer PCM expects.

dynamicefi.com read up on its features. uses your donor ECM. runs TBI or multi port. Uses stock GM sensors and your harness.

These guys offer a VERY interesting product. It's a shame it's so expensive but for what you get I think it's a fair price.
