i am wondering what the silver box near the ecm behind the passenger side dash is? and if it can be bypassed.

DERM for the airbag? Check if the connectors are yellow and/or there are yellow tracers on the wire bundle. That indicates air bag wiring.

Yea it does. Does this box change anythin ecm wise if i remove it?

Note that the airbag in the steering wheel is basically a bomb. If it goes off, someone can get seriously hurt.

I dont have an airbag anymore its jus that i accodentaly cut the connector off thinking it was something else. Wondering if i could just remove it
