few noob questions. i have a 89 gta im looking into getting a ebl flash.
but does it come with software? or do i have to get a additional soaftware?
and is it woth it. and better than chip burning?

I think it's worth it (but I'm biased), and it beats chip burning all to heck. ECM is back under the dash where it belongs. Takes but a few seconds to flash in a tune.
You can use either the EBL Flash with the Port Mod, or the EBL P4 Flash. One main difference is in the amount of ECM harness connector re-pinning required. The EBL Flash uses the two stock connectors with a small handful of terminals/wires moved.
The EBL P4 Flash requires a third connector along with nearly all of the terminals/wires moved.
Both require a MAP sensor to be added. Which may be a 1-bar (N/A), 2-bar (15 psi boost), or 3-bar (30 psi boost).
There is currently a short thread on the DIY_PROM board where the EBL is being discussed. Along with a long thread where tuning with it is being discussed.
