inside 16147060 pcm
I fried my 16147060 pcm with the wrong wires idiot me.
Luckely I have a backup, but inside some ic is burned and if I can find the corecyt one I may be able to repair it.
However it is pretty fried so I can read half the numbers so I need to know exact what numbers are on it.
In this picture it is the black ic with 9 legs between the 2 aluminum blocks and the bolt ,
If someone has a spare would you mind looking inside and tell what numbers are on it ?
What I have so far is:

Your help is much apreciated

Re: inside 16147060 pcm
you might check for the information on gearheadefi.com It looks like the ecm is similar to the 16197427
Re: inside 16147060 pcm
But is that the only damage? Even if you could get the chip what was on it?
It may be hard in Netherlands to get a used PCM but here not so, any auto part store. Or even with an early E trans PCM like this at a junkyard for $20-$30. Worse case eBay.
Then there's always an option of wiring on new pigtails and using an ever abundent 16197427...
With how cheap these ECM/PCM are here I don't think anyone would try and repair one.

Very true about you junkyards, but they are not here, aldough I bought a used 4l80e with diesel ecm and loom for a steal overhere.
I am used to try to fix everything I break......
It is possible that something else is fried inside, dont know.
Gues I keep it as a spare parts box.

That chip is the IAC driver. For an off the shelf chip, look for a bi-polar stepper motor driver. Likely made by Texas Instruments.
Otherwise, that chip is used in many different ECMs, even the early '7747 uses it. If you wired +12 volts to the IAC wires it may be just the chip that popped.
