Car will start when cold but go for drive and turn off even for minute try to start just turns over. Put a couple drops of gas in throttle body starts right up.

Do you need to crank it a bit before it cold starts? If so then check if the fuel pump turns on at key-on, engine-off. Should run for two seconds then stop. This is done via the ECM and fuel pump relay.

In had a similar issue. Mine wasnt priming at all and would need cranking until the oil pressure reached over 4 psi and the oil pressure switch turned on the fuel pump. When the engine was hot it would take much longer to start. It turned out to be a faulty pickup coil in the distributor.

That's interesting; the pickup wasn't sensing the reluctor thingy during crank, but it sure must have once it started. I wonder how that could be. Did your car run ok once it started? Did it run better after fixing it?
