1228746 Input in 88 Firebird
Can I upgrade the ECM in my 88 Firebird with the 1228746 ECM? Is it a simple swap or are there other issues that need to be addressed?

I think you will run into an issue with VATs. IIRC, '89 and up have it. Although, you could use a '8746 PROM from a Caprice, not ideal, but most (if any?) don't have VATs.

Ronny if he has tbi it would be the one year wonder 1228063, I have several oem 2732 EPROMs if you need vats taken out.
