1228063 ECM Failure?

My car has been sitting in the garage. I went to start it and nothing. I can get the car to run on ether but not on gas. The gas is fresh as I drained the tank. I checked fuel flow and pressure and that is good. The car will run on ether with or without the ecu. It seems like the injectors are not pulsing. Could multiple battery connects and disconnects cook the ECU?
