OBDII on a 86 camaro???
what would be involved in converting a 86 Camaro to run on a OBDII system?? seems to me it would be a better deal .has anyone done this? what donor parts did you use??
Re: OBDII on a 86 camaro???
OBD 2 started 1994 but went big in 1996 to 2001. for an engine swap I presume you would use the donor harness. The sensors if purchased seperately would cost a fortune. OBD2 was for better emissions and diagnosis. Not sure why you would want to go that route on an older car unless the engine swap.

Look in the tpi boards. A few of us have. Damn engines run smooth and get better economy. Its 21 pages long from start to finish but most what u need to begin is in first 5 pages. I did it for around $1000 but I converted a truck harness.
