Are ECMs worth saving from the junkyard?

Some more than others? Some not at all?

They cost $50 at the junkyards around here so I don't want to buy them ***** nilly unless there is some value.

Re: Are ECMs worth saving from the junkyard?

some are certainly worth at least that.

a run of the mill 7730? not really.

some MEMCALs are certainly worth quite a bundle of cash as well, like 90-92 TPI MEMCALs.

If you find the right yard you can get them for less than half that amount.
Right now (2013) V8 memcals are worth more than ecm's.
