Engine: 305 TBI -> 305 TPI
Transmission: T5/T56
Axle/Gears: 3.08 - 3.73+ soon
car running like crap
Alright. So just finished my 86 305 tpi swap into my 92RS with a T56.
We're using a 305 TPI SD ECM & prom. Idle is at about 900. i have no adjusted the IAC TPS ranges from .74 - 4.4 volts. I'm going to attach my xdl from the drive around the block. Gears 1-4, downshifted a few times. went down to 1. Started on a hill near the end when it runs like ****.
The car has a stock intake system, ported heads, and a slightly bigger head.
What is the IAC supposed to be at (steps)?
The MAP looks like it's all over the place?
I'm sure I can get the idle down by messing with the iac..
I just realized that my battery starts at 11.5 volts and ends up near 9... Could this cause my problem?
