Can I use an ECM from a IROC 350 in my GTA 350? It's the same right?

Both being 5.7l TPI set ups the ECM are identical. However, the MEMCAL is likely different. This is the actual calibration for the vehicle. Can try it with the current MEMCAL, it will likely work.

That is going from a '87 IROC to an '88 GTA it wil likely work. Going the other way the GTA may have VATs while the IROC doesn't (no start).

Could also swap in the correct MEMCAL for the vehicle the ECM is going into.

88 GTA definitely does have VATS and the 87 Camaro does not. 7165 computers are the same for either, so you must use the memcal from the 88.

My '88 GTA does not have VATS, I even have the original Owners Manual, and it has a sticker inside that says the car does NOT have VATS even though the manual states it has.
