0411 24X conversion on L-98 383, crank but no start
Hello all,
I'm curious to whether or not anyone out there can add some insight to my... hopefully last issue to get the car started.
I have EFI live on and monitoring the car as I crank, but I'm not seeing any indication of RPM which would say that shoudn't have fuel pulsing to fire if the ECU doesn't see rotation, correct? Any insight is welcome at this point and yes i have an e-mail in to S-10wildside

No indication of RPM: Is the reluctor lined up with the crank position sensor? Is the CPS wired correctly? Is the cam sensor plugged in?
What are you using for the crank and cam sensors?... Vortec cover? Vortec distributor? EFIConnection billet timing cover (both sensors)? Other?

Thanks for the checks, I need to look at the CPS and see if it is aligned and rotating, I didn't check that yet.. duh I forgot my basic troubleshooting...
eficonnections 24X setup for SBC vortec in back with 1X and 24X on the crank with EFI connection non-billet cover (owner didn't want to spend the extra money)

No rpm is crank sensor related. Just had this issue, my sensor failed after barely a year of limited run time. Not happy about that but not sure why it failed

I`m getting away from Delphi- I`m pretty much convinced anything made in Mexico is just as good as Chinese parts. I bought 2 Deplhi TPS sensors and finally a NOS AC Delco, needless to say NOS is my choice now.

I made the harness. Bought the connectors (some wired out to 10') and integrated it into the harness. I did find out that I don't have the plug wires made to the right length on the coil side. I'm re-making the plug wires again tomorrow and making sure that the coils side of the wire with the end crimped is flush with the lip of the boot.
Sorry for the slow delay, I work two jobs and this is the first chance I've had to respond.
I'm not sure about the sensors, I'd guess I got quality parts knowing S10wildside. I did get the 24X sensor signal to start pulsing. again I will be working on it tomorrow and will see if the plug wires are a good start to fixing my issue(s)...

I am having the same crank but no start issue and I get a crank signal and rpm but not the correct wave firm from the CPA sensor.
Hopefully you get it figured out.

To solve this part of the my issue from last year... I noticed that the 24 pick-up sensor had indication of - + (sig) inside the plug of the sensor and ended up re-pinning the 3 wire connector. The car started to fire after that.

What are you guys seeing for cost on the programming side of the 411? I have most of the harness and hardware but have been looking at Holley HP, Adaptronics as a good entry level standalone.

I was told that almost like the Motec you have to buy additional license packs- I haven't looked into this myself- just thought I would ask opinions first.

That is only if you buy it used and all of the licenses are used up. This new software goes by your Vin # unlike tunercat where you could burn chips forever. Once you use a license 'vin' you have used 1 credit
