ALDL question and 7730 ECM

ALDL question and 7730 ECM
Hi all,
Converted a 88(305TBI) to 91(350TPI)using all factory, harness and ECM. Engine starts and runs but is running very rich. I purchased a Autogalaxy scanner but when I plug it in the ALDL connection I get "No Data". But when I jumper to ground to check codes I get a code 12 six times. Anyone have any ideas or a direction to go in?

I would call the people who you bought it from. It sounds like it's just not connecting but the ecm is fine. If nothing works, build a cable and run Craig Moates software. The software is free and requires nothing more than a 386 and DOS to run. The cable can be built for next to nothing, too. Do a search on the DIY PROM board for info.
