'90 F-body / Truck TBI ECM Compatibility

I am working on a '90 P/U truck with a 5.7L TBI (engine code K), and a 1227747 ECM. Could I use a 1228746 f-body ECM (it's actually out of a '90 5.7L police car, engine code 7) in the P/U truck, or are there significant differences in the ECMs & harnesses?

With the stock chips, the 8746 runs a bit better than the 7747 with a GM 10134334 cam (235 deg @ 0.050", 0.480" lift i/e) installed in the 5.7L, although I need to bump up the idle & fix the over rich condition @ idle in the PROM.

IAT, VATS, power steering switch, dual valve AIR, and can purge. The IAT and VATS will need to be addressed.
