Questions on software and Eproms
I know it's not a referral service but I have to ask, because I don't want to waste money getting the wrong software. E-mail me if you don't want to post publicly please.
Please keep in mind this is an 86 IROC and I just bolted a Miniram II to it, 52mm TB, put LS-1 26.5 injectors on it, set the AFPR for 48PSI and SLP headers and Y pipe, w/ a comp cams 270hr. I know I need to redo the ECM and delete the EGR and 9th injector and set the Injector size for the new ones that I put on.
Any help would be appreciated

Opinion's please. Which Reprogramming software do you prefer (Tuner cat or something like it)?
Questions 2
Is there an EPROM that can be made so you don’t have to pull it out, (i.e. you can flash it in the ecm through the ALDL connector and a laptop) for the 1227165 ECM that can be made to flash? Is this a worthless question? If there is what kind of modifications need to be done to accommodate this if it can happen?

I'd seriously think of going with a 90-92 MAP system.
Hot MAF'd cars and new tuners don't always work well together

I was talking to an Engineer here in CR w/ a 87 GN and he showed me a "Eprom Data Table Chart" for his GN. Do you know where I can get one of these so I can look at My tables w/ hexworks and change the injector size, and turn off the EGR and ninth injector as a start?

Anyway yes there is an ability for replacing your eprom with a SRAM, and doing on the fly tuning. But you have to change over to the same wiring as an 808. The 808 is the Australian version of the 165 sans a communication chip. ANyway, Kalmaker out of Australia makes what your looking for and it ran I think 600-800 dollars. Be advised thou they just closed shop once for several months and left their customers with 0 support.
I don't know of a public domained hac of the 6E code.
The 8D of the 90-92 ecms I think is floating around.
What would make a great community project would be fully commenting the 6E, or 8D code.
For one guy to do it takes like 9 months of intensive work
Then you could refine it to Source Code and do whatever you want.
