I bought some TPI parts from a guy recently. He tossed in this chip and invoice. Looks like its from the early 90's and designed for 87-88 305 with 5spd. I am completely illiterate about PROM chips. Who can tell me anything about this chip that is not already evident from this photo.
The invoice doesn't tell you much and nobody but SLP can tell you what it is. IF, you were to read that chip then compare it to a stock chip, you would be able to tell what they did. Call SLP, they may be able to tell you if you give them the customer number. That leads me to the point of, you should not post personal information on forums, especially someone else info! GL!

Seriously? You're concerned about someone's name and an address that he lived at 15 years ago. That's not personal info. That's easily obtainable public information. Do you haven idea how EASY it is to get any and all of that info plus a lot more with just a few clicks? I can tell you how many bathrooms are in your house in less then 5 minutes. Relax. Nobody posted Brian's SSN or medical, or criminal records. I understand the sensitivity to highly personal info. But a name and address? C'mon. For instance, I see these dopes blocking out the license plates in pix of cars they have for sale. Yet they'll drive around all day long in the same car for the whole world to see the plate! People just don't think things thru.
