Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.27
305 TPI SWAP L98 350 CORVETTE ENGINE
I have a 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA with a 305 TPI engine currently in it. I would like to swap it out for a L98 350 TPI engine from a corvette. I'd like to know all that would need to be done in order to correctly transfer this new engine into the car. What are things i would need to modify like the motor mounts, wiring harness, or reinforce the engine bay since the new engine will produce more torque. Any information at all will help thanks!!!

It will drop right in, it's still just a small block chevy. The only concern might be your lower TPI manifold as I believe the alum Vette heads kept the old style bolt angles.
Wiring harness, motor mounts, and engine bay will all work just fine. You aren't talking about a giant leap in power here.

Will also have to drill/tap 1 bolt hole in the pass side head for the serp bracket.
