Transmission: 1985 T5 5 speed manual
Axle/Gears: 3.42/4.03
What is this thing (1985 Firebird V6)
It sits immediately to the right of the steering column behind the dash frame. Any ideas?

remote dimmer switch for your dash lights. when they fail, your dashlights will stop working but the cel, brake,choke lights still will. it becomes very hard to trace down to what you have pictured.
