Unable to get the EBL-P4 to correctly display current 700R4 gear selection

Unable to get the EBL-P4 to correctly display current 700R4 gear selection
Hi,
Below is a list of the polarity settings I have tried for the option word bits 0,1 and 2.
The closest I can get is the Bin#1 below with bit 0 and 1 checked and 2 un-checked. everything display's correctly in the WUD [B]except[B] for 3rd gear is show in WUD as 1/2 gear.
I only can think of 8 combinations of the flag settings to try. Does anyone see something that I am missing???

Just want to confirm, are you running the EBL-P4 or EBL Flash with your '88 Iroc?

The P4 Also it's re-pined per the sheet that RBob sent with the ECM (had a '165 prior).
Only changes to the re-pin are...
1) Both the AIR injection leads (B2&F4) along with the EGR (E9)are disconnected and insulated at the engine side of the harness.
2) My wide band is pinned to B2 and the G force sensor Y axis is pin E1 X axis is E2.
This car uses the optical speed sensor. One note but I don't think it would have an effect is my speedo needle bounces 2-3 mph. So I need to find time to pull out the cable and clean & re lube it
It's a 1 owner car with 49k on the clock.

Without the 3rd gear switch in the transmission the WUD won't show 3rd gear. It will show P/N, 1/2, or OD (4th).
