1228706 ECM

So, I went and found a couple of 8706 ECM's from a couple of 3.3 L cars. The memcal's look the same (knock filter board and all) but am curious what is different about the ECM? It has the same connectors as the 7730, but I can't find any info on it. Does anyone know anything about them? Thanks.
