ALDL OBD1 Bluetooth or Wifi iPhone setup?
Didn't find too much on this searching.
I like the idea of using my iPhone to data log all the time in the background when I'm driving.
Is anyone using a wireless OBD1 module with an iPhone?
Doesn't seem to be much out there for this setup.
I think the Red Devil River setup: http://www.reddevilriver.com/ALDL_Bluetooth.html
and
the 1320 Electronics ALDL BT: http://www.1320electronics.com/12pinALDL.html
would work but iPhone doesn't seem to have a receiving end app.

Just get an android tablet. Make sure it has Bluetooth. They are super cheap now.
While your at it - get the ghostly disembodied hand of Steve Jobs out of your back pocket and get an Android phone too.

I hear you. I bought a full Bluetooth Stack for my jailbroken iPhone a few years ago. It is no longer jailbroken. Why Apple doesn't open it up is beyond me.

Yeah, OBD1 logging on an iPhone is definitely a tricky setup since most apps are built around OBD2 support. I’ve looked into it before, and as you mentioned, there aren’t many iOS-compatible options. The Red Devil River and 1320 Electronics setups look promising, but without a dedicated iPhone app, you might need a workaround—maybe a Bluetooth-to-WiFi bridge or using a secondary device for logging.
