305 ECM & TPI running on a GM crate 350

I purchased a sports car with a TPI 350 from an estate. The car seems to run great, is fast, with lots of torque. Initially I was lead to believe the engine was a 92 Camaro L98, but it turns out it is a GM crate motor (don't know that this is a big issue). The TPI is most likely from 1985 - 1988 since it has the Cold Start setup. In researching the TPI, I found that the previous owner had put in a toggle switch to bypass the cold start. The car runs fine, but I don't know if this might be an issue at some point. The interesting thing I found, is that the ECM is apparently for a 305. Again, don't know if this is be a problem. The outside of the ECM box says GM/ACD 88999194 LC21 490706298 GR 3 670 CG ESCM REMAN USA. The ECM is 1227165. The EPROM says AKFN 2178. I removed the MEMCAL (?) and the chip is marked 1606930, but the online info says it should be a 16082177. Couldn't find any info on the 16069300. Would I need to take it to a programmer to find out if it is custom programmed?

The Akfn (88 5.0 auto) if it has the sticker intact it’s more than likely never been reprogrammed. A read can be done to compare the binary file to see if it’s stock. Most people switch to $6e 89 programming after a swap to illuminate the ninth injector. Send me a pm if you are needing a read or reprogramming.

If the silver sticker is on it then it is stock. Now is the time to consider upgrading your injectors before reprogramming. The 305 programming is holding back a lot of potential in your vehicle.
I won't pimp what I do as RBob will say I'm violating TOS. Just get the EBL and it will solve all your problems?

I have nothing but respect for you and my comments were not intended to offend you. Consider it a Player in a Management Position? I was being sarcastic towards some here though.
