Looking to log air fuel ratios with LM-2 and other data like load, rpm, and timing. This is in my 87 Fiero with 5.7 tpi engine running 1227730 speed density ecm. After researching I found the Moates APU1 and Innovate 3811 cable I should be able to do this with TunerProRT according to Moates support with some heavy math involved.
Anyone doing this or know of a better way to go to log this data? I want to be able to send this data to help someone else tune for me.
Running a mild build with stock intake and running rich so I know there’s more power to be had.
Great information, very much appreciate the replies. I found plenty of LM-1 and and other information but nothing for LM-2 specific.
So would the formula be the same for all Innovate WB products using 0-5 Volts?
Also it appears from the 3rd gen links you are pinning into the ECM with the WB sensor. If this is the case do I still need the APU1 or would the ALDU1 with CABLE1 from Moates suffice? If I need to get APU1 then I might as well just dive in and start learning to tune myself now.

seems like as long as the relationship curve between voltage and AFR is the same, then yes the LM1 and LM2 would be the same.
someone else will have to weigh in on the AUP1 question...I have no experience with it.
@ ultm8z, is the s_aujp adx already setup in to use a wb signal ?
If it is sounds like you just need to run s_aujp and pin the wb signal to f14 of the ecm.
You could have your tuner send you a starter tune with s aujp and get a g1 adapter or do it yourself with a burn2 and g1.
To datalog you could use the xtreme aldl cable.
It appears the ALDU1 is just a part number for extreme ALDL and with pinning through ecm and using TP I should be able to log the data I need.
Any my other hardware recommendations to look at?
thanks again
That should do it, you still need a g1 or you can solder in a d2 and use a hdr1 to flash the memcal directly.
The stock memcal is a uv erasable style prom. The burn 2 can only read the prom. You would need to use a sst27sf512 flash prom.
The only advantage of the apu1 would be to tune on the fly.
Here is what a dip socket looks like installed into the memcal. It’s much easier than swapping chips on a g1. I would tune it yourself or look into dynamic efi ebl p4.

plain ol' utlm8z is fine... I freaking hate Twitter!

Yeah, the S_AUJP stuff is already set up for the WB. Just need to pin to F14 and flip the appropriate switches in TP (which is detailed in that earlier link I posted).
If I’m going to do it I might as well get the APU setup to tune on the fly. Time is money and this would likely pay for itself in time saved. And I would not have to piece meal it together and potentially pay more in the end.
So stick with this hardware from Moates? Anything else to consider for hardware or software?

The ebl isn’t that much more than a apu1 . It will do fueling learns and is a plug and play for the 730 ecm. Tune on the fly and even setup multiple tunes. http://www.dynamicefi.com/EBL_P4_Flash.php
EBL looks great but I'd like to be able to do more than one vehicle for future use or to help someone else out with a different vehicle.
Appreciate the information. Here is a picture of what I'm working on. Can't believe thirgen site took this large of picture without editing it or using a link.
