Data logging with Craig's software

I just started used Craig's scan tool, it works great when I am out for a test run but when I look at the log file after it just shows the titles and no varables. I named the file with the .csv ext? What am I doing wrong?

I have that problem as well. I accept all the default options upon initializing the program just for info.

i have found that you can only "record" once. meaning if you start logging, then stop, then start logging again, the file will say nothing at all. however, if you do one recording, it will be in the file.

That's odd. It should work fine, you should be able to use the 'L' key as a toggle to start, stop, and resume data logging. Anyone else having this problem or the opposite?

Do you have to hit 'L' to start the data-logging? Or does it start when the program starts running? Also I keep the 10 kohm resistor connected when running the program, with this cause the problem? Thanks!

The resistor will not cause a problem. The program starts up with datalogging off, so yes, you have to hit 'L' to begin datalogging. You'll see the indicator at the bottom of the screen letting you know if logging is on or off. You can switch it on and off as often as you like during an operation period...

The logging function works fine for me, I've started & stopped it a number of times during a run (to skip boring sections) with no ill effects..

Seems like I got a blank file (with only headers) once, don't know what caused it.

Program works fine for me. I've started and stopped many times, with no problems.
