Need some help regarding data logging w/1320 ALDL bluetooth
Been trying to data log with a 1320 Electronics bluetooth ALDL device. When I send the .xdl files to Scott, he says they are "buggy." Unfortunately, my inexperience with data logging/monitoring is showing. I have spent hours searching for answers so I thought maybe someone here could answer my simple question: I have been using the .adx that comes with the 1320 device (A100-L98-LB9-1990-1991-9600.adx) but I see that Scott has a link to $8D.adx for use in data logging with TunerPro on his website. Should I be using the $8D.adx with my 1320 device for data logging? Will it make a difference? Is there anyone on here that has experience data logging with the 1320 device? BTW, I'm streaming the data via bluetooth to an Android tablet with ALDLDroid.

Thanks. I have exchanged emails with John Wales and he suggested to try logging with TunerPro and the $8D.adx instead of ALDLDroid and A100 .adx. Kind of frustrating, as I went this route because I don't have a laptop. Going to "borrow" a friends laptop this weekend and see if that gets me a file that Scott doesn't want to fling against a wall.

I haven't tried logging with mine.
TunerPro doesn't require much of as laptop. Get an older cheap laptop on ebay. Make sure it's one you can get cheap batteries for. The older Lenovo business laptops are always a favorite of mine. Plentiful cheap batteries and rugged construction.
Honestly E-tuning is limited and you should consider getting some equipment (like a laptop and chip burner or EBL system) and just tune it yourself.
