Spark Control Module
Does anyone happen to know if Spark Control Module #16024701 is getting bypassed with carb setup or is always being used to send sign to ECM unit to start engine?
When you convert from Crossfire to Carb the Spark Control Module must be removed or its use just being ignored by vehicle electric system?
I will convert back to crossfire. I have already bought a very nice CFI engine harness to work with my cfi ecm.

Re: Spark Control Module
the ESC module sends signal to ECM to control spark advance, will not be working if ECM not in working order. The ESC circuit is different from 1982-83,but easy to use one or the other. Good luck on the project and post any other questions

Re: Spark Control Module
Luckily I bought a cfi setup last year. I miss though a 1225550 ecm.
I will gladly buy that if you have it.
