Hook scanner up to car and fuel pump relay clicks. Dash lights go crazy and no out put to scanner speedometer jumps all dash lights please help I switched the pump relay with a good one. N

 

probably the wrong board for this but I have a 96 tahoe that I've hooked up scanners to and it does weird things. one made the CD try to eject over and over without the radio even being on. seems like 96 is just a weird year gm.

try a better scanner and it will probably work. I've not found any of those cheap Bluetooth scanners that use phone apps that work. but I've used a 2500$ otc and it read everything, air bag, abs and engine data.
