Correct Memcal? Hypertech in my 88 GTA

I know that the previous owner of my 88 GTA had replaced the memcal with a Hypertech and probably the ECU, but at first it didn't bother me. After some other issues I was happy that the engine was at least running.
But the longer I have it and the more things i get fixed, the more I find it annoying.

Problem is, it doesn't idle smoothly, goes up and down between 700 and 900 RPM's, but never stays there, no matter if the engine's cold or warm.
Also, when I go faster than 145kmh / 90mph it suddenly revs up and slows down in a high frequency (4-5 times per second) and stops accelerating.
Even though I don't have a proper comparison, I also expected a little more power from that engine.
Well, at least I never noticed it running very hot and it only died once on me.

Anyway, I had a look at the ECU and the MEMCAL, but have been having troubles finding any details about it.
So I was wondering if you guys could tell me what kind of MEMCAL that is and if there is any way to fix the issues mentioned above or if I should just get a new or different one.
I've been trying to find an original part for almost 2 years, but that turned out to be really hard, especially in Germany or Europe.
I know that the ECU itself is an remanufactured item, which might be ok. If you have other thoughts about that, please let me know.

Any help is highly appreciated.
I can't stress enough how much I like this site and all the work that people put into it.Guess I just wanna say thanks!

Here are some pictures I took the other day:

That memcal can be reprogrammed if needed.
its a Hypertech sold in the states like through summit racing.
Several bcc codes for your car. If you need one let me know.

Re: Correct Memcal? Hypertech in my 88 GTA

Thanks fot the offer, but I'd rather not send it around the globe and keep it in the car to be able to still drive it. No offense.
I know that it is possible to reprogramm the memcal, which would probably solve most of the issues.
If I have the choice though, I would prefer keeping it as close to stock as possible. So yes, maybe I need to reprogram the memcal, but first I'd like to know if this specific one is even good or if it would be better to get a different one.
Alternatively, an original part seems like a good option to me as well.
Problem is, I can't figure out whcih one I need.

I assume it's AKXZ, but I am not sure about the Anti-Theft.
Is there any wayto find out?

I have the akxz it does have vats enabled. I could disable this and send a memcal if needed.
